Terrence Turner, DDS
Dr. Terry Turner is originally from Oklahoma City, Oklahoma. He earned his undergraduate degree at The University of Oklahoma in 1992, Doctor of Dental Surgery at Meharry Medical College in Nashville, Tennessee in 1999 and completed his Endodontic training at the University of Michigan in Ann Arbor in 2002.
In addition to his clinical and didactic training, Dr. Turner spent time researching the efficacy of the root canal filling material Mineral Trioxide Aggregate (MTA) and teaching in the U of M dental clinic. While studying at the University of Michigan, he spent much of his free time in private practice in Southfield, Michigan. During this time he nurtured his chairside manner and began to develop his excellence in Endodontic Therapy.
Being from Oklahoma, naturally, Dr. Turner chose to move closer to home and opened his practice in Wichita in 2002. For a time, Dr. Turner was active in the Wichita District Dental Society and served as President, Vice President, and Secretary. In addition, he was recognized by his colleagues as one of Wichita’s Top Endodontists in the Wichita Register, “Wichita’s Top Dentists 2006” issue. Dr. Turner was an instructor at Wichita State University’s Advanced Education in General Dentistry (AEGD) clinic from 2009-2014.
In 2013, Dr. Turner relocated his practice to Maize Road. This new, state of the art facility includes new microscopes, patient treatment chairs and most importantly, a relaxing environment. Dr. Turner shares this unique building with an Orthodontic practice, as well as, a Pediatric practice. Dr. Turner’s office was featured in Patterson Today, a nationally published dental magazine.
He is the proud father of two daughters and a son.
